What’s IN the name?

In high school, I knew two things for sure: I wanted to be a hairdresser, and I wanted to live in London.

At 22, I followed that dream—leaving behind everything familiar and comfortable to chase something I couldn’t ignore. I landed in London with nothing but a suitcase and a big leap of faith.

After a month in a hostel, I found a share house in Camden Town—and everything changed. Camden was electric. On any given day, you’d pass punks, pin-up girls, cyber goths, and artists of every kind. It was loud, creative, unapologetic—and above all, accepting. It was the first place I truly saw that you could be exactly who you are and not just be accepted, but celebrated for it.

I stayed for nearly two years, refining my craft in a high-end salon in Chiswick and continuing my education through the L’Oréal Academy in London. It was a chapter that shaped not only my skills but also my outlook on life, identity, and self-expression.

Camden Lane is my second big leap—a space built from everything I’ve learned along the way. It’s where creativity meets comfort, where uniqueness is welcomed, and where following your heart is always encouraged.
